About this Event
Take part in a fascinating psychedelic double-header at Thymele Arts! Get your tickets for the early talk on clinical cannabis and ketamine here, and then click on over to the Aware Project to get tickets for their integration talk that is happening a little later on!
Of special interest to clinicians: learn the ins and outs of psychedelic psychotherapy in clinical practice. Cannabis or ketamine combine with non-ordinary-state somatic psychotherapy to produce therapeutic psychedelic experiences at Innate Path, a Denver-based psychotherapy clinic. This clinic has been testing and using these readily accessible or FDA-approved medicines for years to provide psychedelic psychotherapy to clients in a mental health setting. This talk will explain how the process works, explore a helpful map of how the autonomic nervous system is an evocative and useful pathway to channel charged memories and revelations that emerge, and discuss how relationship and modality can draw out and amplify the psychedelic qualities of these medicines. We will also view session video clips of actual sessions to ground the theory. Attendees will be eligible for a discount on the Innate Path training program for clinicians. Registration available on site.
